Dr Colin E Orman BDS. MFGDP.
Colin qualified in 1982 at The Welsh National School of Medicine in Cardiff and gained the Cecil Berg Prize for Restorative Dentistry.
Colin worked in Cardiff as a house officer, then at dental practices in Shaftesbury and Sturminster Newton before starting his own Practice in Stalbridge in 1984 which was taken on by the IDH / MyDentist company in 2005. Colin continued to work in Stalbridge until March 2026 before joining Envisage and their dental team at Sturminster Dental Care, where he plans to work for the next 5 years or so before retiring.
Colin is a very experienced General Dentist and able to work in all disciplines including implant restoration, complex treatments, and cosmetic dentistry. He has an excellent reputation and is well thought of in the Sturminster Newton and Stalbridge local area. Colin likes to treat patients as he would like to be treated himself.
Socially Colin especially enjoys playing his piano keyboard, all things to do with 'flying', and socialising with family and friends. He is a director of 'Care For Your Smile Ltd', 'Make It Go Ltd', has been a volunteer in many community groups over a number of years, and also served for 12 years as a Trustee of Sturfit Leisure Centre.

Colin resigned from Stalbridge Dental Practice in November 2025, leaving after the contracted 4-month notice period in March 2026.
Any statements of retirement after leaving Stalbridge are deliberately misleading, as Colin continues elsewhere, and plans to continue working there for the next few years.
